On the First Sunday of Lent, our St. Thomas Parish Family pledged our prayers and support for one of our catechumens who is completing his final preparation for initiation.  At the Rite of Election, Bishop Barres declared Bryce to be a member of the elect who has been chosen by God and will receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist at this year’s Easter Vigil.  What an exciting moment for our whole parish as we prepare to welcome him as our newest baptized member!

Please remember Bryce in your prayers during these final weeks of his journey toward initiation.  And come out to support him in a special way by taking part in the three ancient rituals, called Scrutinies, which will be celebrated at St. Thomas over the next three Sundays:

• March 24 at the 11:00 Mass at the Chapel
• March 31 at the 10:30 Mass at the Church
• April 7 at the 12:30 Mass at the Chapel

Be sure to come back for the Easter Vigil (and after party!) on April 20 for the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation.
