March for Life on January 27th
On Friday, January 27, 2017, St. Thomas the Apostle parishioners and friends will travel by bus to participate in the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. Mass will be held in the church at 5:30 a.m. and the bus will depart at 6:00 a.m. Anticipated arrival back at St. Thomas is approximately 11:30 p.m. Bob Dougherty is paying for the bus so there will be no charge for individuals who wish to participate in the March. As members of the St. Thomas Parish Family, it is up to us to care for those among us who are seeking Jesus through the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism Confirmation, and Eucharist). Christmas Poinsettia Dedications
The St. Thomas Youth Group invites you to purchase a poinsettia plant in “Celebration of Christmas” as part of the Christmas floral display. A special dedication label will be placed on each Poinsettia before it is placed on the Church/Chapel altar.  The plants remain displayed on the altar for up to two weeks after Christmas. "Let's Make Some Music" with Our Youth Group
The St. Thomas Youth Group is currently looking for someone to help lead its Contemporary Choir. You would need to play an instrument (preferably keyboard or guitar) and be available when the Choir performs at the 6 pm Mass on Sundays.  In addition, rehearsals would be once a week for at least an hour to prepare for the upcoming Mass. Renew your faith through "Living the Eucharist" this Lent by joining one of the small groups which will meet weekly from February 27 through April 8. 50th Anniversary Masses for Msgr. Alesandro
Msgr. Alesandro will celebrate our weekly 5 p.m. Mass on Saturday, December 17th, in thanksgiving for the 50th anniversary of his priesthood ordination on December 17, 1966. Bishop Emil Wcela will preach. He will also celebrate the weekly 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, December 18th, followed by a reception in the Mgsr. Smith Auditorium so our parishioners can offer him their best wishes on this happy occasion.
