For those who will not attend Mass in person this weekend, Sunday Mass from St. Thomas the Apostle will be available on the St. Thomas the Apostle website (www.StThomasApostle.org) as of 10:00AM on Sunday, August 2.  Please join your St. Thomas the Apostle Family in celebrating the 18th Sunday of the Year.

When you decide you are ready to come back to Mass in person for the first time, please click here to read about the new procedures that have been put in place to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Volunteers to assist with new Mass procedures -- either cleaning or the check-in/seating process -- are vital as we expand our schedule of Masses.  Please call the Rectory Office at 516-489-8585 if you are willing to help and are not in a vulnerable category.

Check the parish website for the Sunday Mass schedule.  If you do not feel comfortable coming to Mass in person yet, please be aware that Bishop Barres has extended the dispensation from Sunday Mass attendance for now.

Currently weekday Masses are celebrated at 9:00AM in the lower church Monday through Friday.  The lower church will be locked at 10:00AM for security reasons.  There will be no exposition after the 9:00AM Mass on Fridays for now.

Scheduled confessions are held on Saturdays from 11:00AM until Noon.  To provide for proper spacing they are taking place in the foyer of the school auditorium.  Please enter the auditorium by the door on the driveway.  Chairs have been set up spaced apart from one another for penitents to use while waiting.  Please wear a mask.  If the doors of the foyer are closed assume a confession is being heard.  The priest hearing confessions will indicate when he is ready for you.  You may use a chair facing the priest or a kneeler behind him.  Confessions may also be heard by calling the rectory for an appointment.

For funerals, weddings and baptisms please call the Rectory Office.
