- The peer support “warmline” is open 24/7 and can be reached by calling (516)489-0100 ext. 1.
- Please click here for information on ongoing peer support groups offered by MHANC.
Association for Mental Health and Wellness (MHAW) Mental Health Helpline (click here)
- Click here for a variety of resources available through the MHAW website, including information about their Peer Support Services (see below).
- The Association for Mental Health and Wellness (MHAW) will be offering extended hours for their Peer Support Line and Healing Connections Peer Support Groups to Suffolk County residents. These services are staffed by trained and experienced Certified Peer Specialists. The Peer Support Line can be accessed by calling (631)471-7242 ext. 1217.

Free transportation is available for those who need a ride to pick up food from a food pantry or restaurant. Click here for details.

Cooling Assistance Benefit

The 2019-2020 Cooling Assistance benefit opens May 1, 2020. Eligible individuals may receive one Cooling Assistance benefit per applicant household for the purchase and installation of an air conditioner or a fan to help your home stay cool.
