    • The Association for Mental Health and Wellness (MHAW) will be offering extended hours for their Peer Support Line and Healing Connections Peer Support Groups to Suffolk County residents. Free transportation is available for those who need a ride to pick up food from a food pantry or restaurant.  Click here for details.

 

Cooling Assistance Benefit

The 2019-2020 Cooling Assistance benefit opens May 1, 2020. Eligible individuals may receive one Cooling Assistance benefit per applicant household for the purchase and installation of an air conditioner or a fan to help your home stay cool. In circumstances where an air conditioner cannot be safely installed, a fan will be provided.  Click here for detailsClick here for the application form.
