Youth Group News
Last Updated: December 4, 2015

As it has become our tradition for the Thanksgiving holiday, we want to take a minute and thank adult volunteer Anthony D’Auria for chaperoning each and every Sunday night meeting. Rain or shine, Anthony always turns out. That kind of selflessness and will to serve is what Youth Group is all about.

Youth Group members, friends and family, and all members of the community are invited to attend a benefit shopping event at the Coquette fashion boutique at 173 7th Street in Garden City, on Tuesday, December 3rd , from 10:00am -8:00pm. Twenty percent of all purchases will be donated to Winthrop-University Hospital to support research for the hospital’s Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Program.

If you are unable to join us at the store and would like to contribute, please visit www.winthrop.org/give. Be sure to designate your gift by selecting “other” and typing ILD in the space provided. You may also wish to dedicate your gift in honor of Mary Rockensies.

Checks may also be sent to the address below. Please include “ILD – In honor of Mary Rockensies” in the memo section.
