We welcome Bishop Patrick Ahern to St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. And we thank him for sharing his insights into the life and meaning of St. Therese, the Little Flower. Bishop Ahern will celebrate the 12 noon Mass at the main Church. A parish reception will follow in the new Parish Center. There the Bishop will dedicate the Center before offering an afternoon reflection and Benediction in the lower Church.
As we prepare to dedicate the Parish Center, I’d be remiss if I didn’t also thank Larry Doyle, Laureen Von Elm and Val Tomicich for their constant labors to make the Center one of the most beautiful and practical sites in our parish. Thanks, too, to all of those who memorialized items for furnishing the Center. And always, please remember Frank Nicolazzi and Grace Russo for providing the central funding for the Center’s establishment. May these two dedicated parishioners rest in peace. - Msgr. Jim Lisante
