Protecting God’s Children - VIRTUS is the brand name for a program of sexual abuse awareness and prevention used in our diocese to train all volunteers in keeping our children safe. The training module, Protecting God’s Children for Adults will be offered in the Auditorium of St. Thomas the Apostle Church on: Wednesday, November 2nd - 7 PM. This program is mandatory for all adults who serve as volunteers in any school or parish activity. Anyone who does not complete this training will no longer be permitted to work in the school or parish.
ALL RELIGIOUS EDUCATION & SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS MUST TAKE THE VIRTUS COURSE
This mandate is required through the Office of Children Protection, Diocese of Rockville Centre. Training is provided by Mary Ann Pellegrino & Eileen Minutoli, Directors of Religious Education. Select the session you would like to attend. Follow the prompts to complete the registration. If you do not have internet access, please call The Religious Ed.
