On October 21 & 22,ALL parishioners are cordially invited to Welcome Weekend at St. Thomas the Apostle. This weekend will be an opportunity for the St. Thomas Parish Family to extend a special welcome to those who may not attend Mass regularly.

IF you have been away from the Church, we hope you will join us for this special day.

IF you are an active member of St. Thomas, YOU can make this weekend a great success!  Here are three easy suggestions:

Think of someone you know who no longer attends Mass.  Invite this person to come with you to Mass for Welcome Weekend.  Offer this person a ride and sit together at Mass. While you are at Mass, share your joy and enthusiasm.  Let your words, actions, and attitude serve as an invitation to someone who may be seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ.  (And don’t forget, a simple smile can go a long way.) Before you head home from Mass, spend some time getting to know people you haven’t already met.  Introduce yourself to at least one person you don’t know yet.  Commit to remembering this person’s name in case you see them again the following week.

After the 5:00, 10:30 & 11:00 Masses on Welcome Weekend, you are invited for light refreshments downstairs, where Pastoral Council members will be available to greet you and answer your questions.
