The St. Thomas the Apostle Youth Group will hold its first meeting of the year on Sunday, October 16th at 7pm in the School Cafeteria.  All hgh school students are invited to come to the 6pm Mass to celebrate the start of Youth Group. Following Mass there will be an "Ice Cream Social" and other fun activities from 7-9pm. 

See below for a welcome letter from our new Youth Minister, Bridget Jordan, as well as a registration form.

Bridget Jordan is a recent graduate of Hofstra University where she received a B.A. in English and a minor in Disability Studies. She was a member of the Newman Club where she participated in four Mission Trips; three in Kentucky with the Christian Appalachian Project and one abroad to the Dominican Republic. She served on the Fundraising Committee her senior year and is working to establish a Newman Alumni Chapter at Hofstra. Along with being the new Youth Minister here at St. Thomas the Apostle she is also at St. Mary Church in East Islip where she is working as the Coordinator for first grade Religious Education. She has high hopes for the upcoming year with the Youth Group and she cannot wait to meet everyone!
