It's Time to Plan A Party!

Posted on February 21, 2017 in: General News

The date is set -- on Saturday, November 18th we will once again join together to celebrate as a parish family at our annual DINNER DANCE -- now all we need are parishioners to work together to plan the evening!  We invite anyone who might be interested in helping out with this annual event to a meeting on Wednesday, April 19th at 7:30pm in the Rectory Meeting Room.

As the saying goes...many hands  make light work.  The more people who sign on to help, the less each person will have to do!  Listed below are some of the committees we are looking to form:

MAILING COMMITTEE - Coordinate the printing and mailing of Dinner Dance letters to parishioners and businesses.

JOURNAL COMMITTEE - Contact local businesses to ask for their support.  Follow-up on letters sent by Chairpeople.  You might also have personal contacts you can use in this regard...

RAFFLE PRIZES - Everyone loves to win a basket full of prizes!  We are looking for people who would be willing to approach local businesses, as well as large corporations, for donations of goods and/or services.

RAFFLE BASKETS - Are you "crafty" and able to tie beautiful bows?  Creating attractive presentations of our raffle prizes might be right up your alley!

TICKET SALES - Tickets are sold after Masses on a series of weekends -- maybe you could help with this?

SEATING ARRANGEMENTS - Anyone who has planned a large party knows how much time goes into the seating arrangements in order to make everyone happy!

EVENT NIGHT - Transporting and setting up the prizes, selling raffle tickets during the cocktail hour, etc.

Please call  the Rectory at 489-8585 if if you can't make the meeting but are interested in helping...Thank you for considering how you can contribute to this important social event that also raises significant funds to support our parish.  CLICK HERE for Volunteer Form
